Senator Robert Black and Minister Bibeau Correspondence Following NCFA Meetings

Recently, NCFA met with Senator Robert Black to discuss issues facing our members such as labour, market development, and business risk management programming options.
Following this meeting, Senator Black sent a letter to Minister Bibeau outlining our concerns and asking for solutions.

In response, Minister Bibeau replied with Government plans for the Temporary Foreign Worker program and the Next Policy Framework (including AgriStability and the Livestock Price Insurance program.) She also acknowledged the work NCFA has been doing with CFIA.
