The theme for this year’s school is Putting Technology to Work! Between tours and speakers, anyone who is involved in backgrounding and finishing cattle will take away valuable lessons and contacts from this event. Attendees will hear from producers and experts in the fields of animal health, nutrition and feedlot management on how technology can be employed to improve your feeding operation. For the complete agenda and registration information see the attached brochure or visit www.saskcattle.com. Participants at this event love the mix of producer panels, expert speakers and tour/demo activities.

Don’t forget that if you can’t make it to Moose Jaw, you have the option to register as an online participant and watch the School from the comfort of your own office! Information presented at the school will apply to cattle feeding across Canada and North America, so if you live outside of Saskatchewan our online option allows you to take advantage of this excellent learning opportunity without the cost of travel!

*Please note – you need to register in advance in all cases (in person, or online participant).

If you have any questions, please contact Leanne Thompson at the Saskatchewan Cattle Feeders Association office (306) 969-2666 or [email protected].

WCFMS is presented by the Saskatchewan Cattle Feeders Association, the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture.
